Oreo Cookie Lab Author: Albert, PRHS
9/20/2013
Problem: Does the Oreo cookies bran telling the truth when it says that "doubled stufed" compared to the original brand, or with its brand of "Mega stufed" that claims to have triple the cookie stuffing of the original cookies.

Hypothesis: I believe that what the Oreo company did was exaggerated.

Steps for accomplishing this task-

Step 1: Get three different types of Oreos.

Step 2: Put cookie cream filling on triple beam balance.

Step 3: adjust weight until the triple beam balance is completely balanced.

Step 4: record results of the mass.

Results-

Regular brand of Oreos: 3.2 grams

Double stufed brand of Oreos: 6.35 grams

Mega stufed brand of Oreos: 9.74 grams

Conclusion: The results show that the Oreo company was telling the truth when they said they had increased the amount of cream filling.
